Who am I and why do I do what I do?
My name is Daria, and I have been a dog groomer, dog lover and fascinated by animal behavior for many years. The wonderful contact with my canine clients allows me to achieve perfection in my work.
All About Me
Jeg har jobbet med grooming og atferd hos hunder i nesten 10 år, og hundens komfort kommer alltid først. Min erfaring med hundeatferd og forståelse av hundepsykologi gjør at jeg kan skape en trygg og god kontakt med hundene, noe som sikrer en trygg behandling for begge parter. Stress under besøk er helt normalt, men med min erfaring prøver jeg å vise hunden at hele prosessen kan være behagelig og komfortabel. Jeg bruker den tiden hunden trenger og tilpasser metodene individuelt for hvert enkelt dyr. Jeg jobber kun med hypoallergene produkter og utstyr fra anerkjente merker – her er det ingen tilfeldigheter. Hvert produkt velges nøye basert på hundens behov og pelspleie. Sikkerhet står i høysetet under hele behandlingen! Hunden er aldri alene eller uten tilsyn, og jeg jobber kun med én hund om gangen, slik at jeg kan gi din firbente venn full oppmerksomhet.
I grew up with many animals – birds, rodents, reptiles, cats and dogs, which were always a part of my everyday life. But it was the dogs that got a special place in my heart. Previously in my family we had large dog breeds, which I still have a great relationship with. Gradually, hair care and dog care became my great passion.
My professional journey took a more serious turn when my first problem dog, Douglas, a large breed mix adopted from a Polish animal shelter, entered my life. Due to behavioral problems, he was doomed to spend the rest of his life in an animal shelter.
He was the one who inspired me to study dog behavior, and working with these amazing animals became my life's goal. Correcting the mistakes made in his life before he met me was a challenge, but seeing his progress and how his life became happier confirmed that I chose the right path. Thanks to my determination, I have given him a happy life, and our long journey together has taught me a lot about dogs.
In the meantime, I felt that hair care for people was no longer enough, so I decided to work professionally with dogs in Norway. I quickly found a balance between haircuts and dogs – grooming. This idea became a reality, and I became one of the lucky ones who combines passion with work. Every success and new course motivates me to develop even more in what I do.
My love for dogs and many years of experience working with them led to the creation of this place – a salon where your dog is always the focus. Understanding dog psychology, respecting their boundaries, and my passion for hairdressing and continuous learning allow me to achieve perfect results in my daily work. I pay great attention to detail and precision when creating the hairstyle, highlighting the dog's natural beauty.
Privately, I own two wonderful dogs: Aya, a Cane Corso that I rescued as a puppy before she was put down due to behavioral problems. Because of my experience with problem dogs, I didn't hesitate to take her into my home and give her a place in my heart. I also have Amaro – a black prince, a male Royal Poodle, who I hope will be the father of my future breeding of Standard Poodles.
